Frontage Brings New Leadership to its Biometrics Services. Dr. Liu directly reports to Greg Zhou and is based at the company’s headquarters in Exton, PA. Dr. Liu brings more than 18 years of teaching and working experience in statistics and programming, including over 9 years of technical and managerial experience in biostatistics supporting pharmaceutical clinical development. Prior to coming to Frontage, Dr. Liu worked at Research Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. In more than 7 years there, Dr. Liu held several managerial positions ranging from Sr. Biostatistician to Director, Biostatistics and Programming. He managed up to 20 statisticians and programmers, including 5 PhDs, and supported the business in both the US and China.
From 2003 to 2004, Dr. Liu was Biostatistician at Premier Research supporting clinical development. From 1998 to 2002, Dr. Liu was Sr. Programmer at InnaPhase and Invensys, respectively, and contributed to the development of a PK/PD data analysis, simulation and reporting system and provided programming services to customers. He also held the position of Assistant Professor in Mathematics and Statistics at Central South University from 1985 to 1990. Dr. Liu received his PhD in Mathematics from Michigan State University.
Dr. Liu has extensive experience in data management and biometrics support for Phase I - IV clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas, including CNS, Dermatology, ID, Oncology, and Ophthalmology. He has participated in numerous Data Monitoring Committee and Data Safety Monitoring Board meetings for various clinical programs.
With the addition of Dr. Liu, Frontage now provides a broader and higher quality range of services to our clients to meet their biostatistics needs.
