September in the United States is when we typically think of “back to school.” But this year it also means back to the office (a topic Life Science Leader explored in an August executive virtual roundtable). Since the lockdowns that began in 2020, like it or not, remote work became the new norm for many, and along with it, a new perspective. From the corporate boardroom down to entry-level positions, knowledge workers suddenly saw their work world in a completely new light, and along with it, their personal lives. Though some companies are opting to remain 100% remote, others are implementing hybrid models to accommodate individual employee circumstances.
