When Don DeGolyer took the helm of Sandoz in March 2010, he was determined to turn the company around. The first thing he did was go on a listening tour, meeting with both employees and customers to find out the company’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as what improvements people thought were needed. It worked. The company showed a 42 percent growth in sales for 2010 and another 25 percent increase the following year.
