It takes a great team to build a great company. Despite the mythology that entrepreneurs can do it all, in truth, the most successful of them understand the importance of building a great team. And nowhere is this truer than in the biopharmaceutical industry, where value creation has always been a team sport.

Innovation in biopharma is being funded by a massive influx of investment in both public and private biotech companies, and many are scrambling to recruit top executives, board members, and employees to scale their organizations. Competition for talent is intense and, with the industry still operating under work-from-home policies, much of this recruiting is happening virtually. The pandemic has demanded that organizations adjust their ways of identifying and hiring key talent.
