The Skin Is The Game: New Ways To Play In Dermatology

At any given time, as many as one in three Americans have a disease impacting the largest human organ — the skin. The nature and causes of skin conditions are myriad, requiring a diverse and growing number of treatments. Skin cancer is one of the most common cancer diagnoses in the U.S., and skin conditions can range from severe and life-threatening to merely bothersome or unwanted and everything in between. The global market for dermatology drugs is expected to double by 2030, from approximately $20 billion in 2022 to nearly $40 billion in 2030, according to Precedence Research.
