I am a New England guy. I was born in Boston, grew up in New Hampshire, attended Boston College, and earned my Ph.D. from one of the leading biology programs within the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture at the University of New Hampshire. For half of my career, I held a faculty position and led multiple labs at Harvard Medical School (HMS), and for the second half, I worked at established and biotechnology startups in Cambridge and the surrounding areas of Massachusetts. I have had the opportunity to experience and contribute to the thriving life sciences industry in Massachusetts, and I can say that it has all of the components needed to ultimately bring new treatments forward for patients.
