Eastern NC Biomanufacturing Region Reports Strong Growth, Expands Training Programs

Eastern North Carolina is emerging as one of the nation’s most dynamic biomanufacturing hubs, driven by record-setting investment and rapid workforce expansion. In 2024 alone, the region captured the majority of North Carolina’s life sciences growth, securing $7.1 billion of the state’s $10.8 billion in new investments and more than half of the new jobs created.
