Hire Like A Candidate: Courtesy Is Your Differentiator

This booming biopharma market has created intense competition for employees and significant hiring challenges, putting pressure on companies to go beyond title and compensation to attract top talent. I’ve experienced the battle for talent firsthand and from both sides. My challenge as a hiring manager and team builder is to work with my HR colleagues to find new and proactive solutions to the talent problem. For me, it starts with treating candidates the way they deserve to be treated. Companies have lost sight of how to make the candidate experience a positive one. If you are familiar with the term “ghosting,” you know it is commonly associated with dating, but it’s now all too common in recruitment.
