Hiring For Talent, Not Geography

As CEO of SparingVision, managing a company based in two continents is one of the most exciting aspects of my job and, increasingly, is becoming a necessity to be able to grow in a shrinking world. Indeed, for European companies to be successful, it is important that they have a global outlook, and I believe that the United States, in particular, offers a very important market for ambitious European life sciences startups. In our company, for example, we want to retain our roots in France, where our science originated, while endeavoring to scale up our operations, utilizing the opportunities provided in the U.S.
