In the June 2021 issue of Life Science Leader, there is an inspirational article detailing how Lou Reese and Mei Mei Hu jumped into the fight against COVID-19 by founding and running a company (Vaxxinity) capable of developing a COVID-19 diagnostic test and a COVID-19 vaccine. But as we all know, there were many in biopharma who responded to the COVID-19 call. For some, it was developing a vaccine, diagnostic, or therapeutic. For others, it was figuring out how to keep their companies going during the most challenging of times.
