It is encouraging to see that more women are breaking into the drug development and medical device industry, which has historically been male-dominated. The lessons I have learned through my diverse background and motherhood are additive to those shared by many women who have stood up to share their perspectives and offer advice about how to break the pervasive glass ceiling.
