It's Time To Recalibrate The Pharma Supply Chain

As I write this in the final days of 2020, there are signs that victory over COVID is in sight, although mutated strains of the virus may be coming. How these strains compare to the one we faced in early 2020 is unknown, as is the efficacy of the vaccine to protect us. Nevertheless, businesses, institutions, and other organizations have mixed feelings on what life on the other side will look like. There will be a “new” normal, but exactly what it will be like and how long it will last is anybody’s guess. Either way, pharma supply chains need to be recalibrated. So, what needs to be done with parties upstream (suppliers) and those that are downstream (customers) before it is too late?
