Leadership Is Manifest In Intention

In my experience, the most effective leaders are intentional about everything they do: how they speak, how they listen, the everyday conduct of their lives. They recognize that people are always trying to read their intent, so they leave little room for interpretation. I know that a leader is exceptional when I ask why they did something and their answer is immediate, clear, and specific.
