When Tryon Medical Partners left a large medical system in 2018 to once again become an independent group, clinical research was part of our stated mission. Our group of over 100 physicians now has clinical trials underway in multiple specialties, and I am leading several in gastroenterology (GI). Our program has been a success, but we do certainly face some challenges.
