Charlotte’s health innovation ecosystem is taking shape around a powerful mix of place, people and purpose. With The Pearl innovation district and Wake Forest University School of Medicine’s new Charlotte campus as anchors, new networks and programs are connecting founders, researchers and health systems in ways the region hasn’t seen before. Central to this momentum is the launch of K.I.N.D. Health Innovation CLT, a community-driven network designed to surface shared challenges, strengthen relationships and move ideas forward collectively. Paired with resources like Connect Labs Charlotte and the upcoming gBETA Charlotte Health pre-accelerator, early-stage health and digital health startups now have clearer pathways to collaboration, mentorship and growth. Together, these efforts are helping Charlotte evolve into a more connected, opportunity-rich hub for health innovation.

Explore how this ecosystem is coming together and what it means for the region’s future.
