Pace Life Sciences Completes FDA Inspection In RTP, Names New President

By Nancy Lamontagne, NCBiotech

A contract analytical testing and development organization serving pharmaceutical and biotech companies passed its latest FDA inspection with no major findings, a routine General GMP review at its Research Triangle Park facility, a site with roots dating to the 1980s as one of North Carolina's first contract analytical labs. The news arrives alongside a leadership change: Andrew Fenny has been named president of Pace Life Sciences, tasked with aligning capabilities across the division's eight sites and expanding support from early development through commercialization. The site now runs new instrumentation for advanced characterization, including high-field NMR and X-ray diffraction, alongside services ranging from extractables and leachables testing to water microbiology.

See what the inspection outcome and leadership transition mean for partners planning development and manufacturing timelines.
