STERIS To Invest $600M, Bring 335 Jobs To Sanford

STERIS plans to invest $600 million in a new 600,000-square-foot Chemistry Manufacturing Center of Excellence at Helix Innovation Park in Sanford, North Carolina. The company’s largest-ever manufacturing investment will create 335 jobs across manufacturing, research and development, distribution and operations, with an average annual salary of $68,704. Construction will proceed in phases, beginning with distribution, and the site is expected to become operational within two to three years. Once complete, the campus will support product development, increase production capacity, and consolidate U.S. chemistry manufacturing and distribution currently based in Missouri and Minnesota.
