Atreca Is Doing More Than Just Creating A Buzz At BIO CEO 2018

When invited to host the BIO Buzz Center during the 2018 BIO CEO & Investor Conference in New York City on behalf of Life Science Leader magazine, I did not know who I’d be interviewing, just that I’d be doing about five video interviews with a number of top industry executives. One of those executives was Tito Serafini, Ph.D., president, CEO, and founder of Atreca, a privately held biotechnology company. Atreca’s proprietary technologies enable the company to analyze clinically relevant immune responses of patients in a manner not possible previously, helping to drive the discovery and development of novel immunotherapies, including those in its lead programs in immuno-oncology. Atreca is the second biopharmaceutical company Serafini has founded (the first being Renovis) following an award-winning career as a faculty member in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, where he established the university’s Functional Genomics Laboratory.
