Consumer Products Company Reckitt Investing $145M In Wilson Pharma Manufacturing Site

Reckitt Benckiser, a multinational consumer goods company based in the UK and the Netherlands, is making a $145.59 million investment to establish a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Wilson, North Carolina. This new plant will focus on producing Mucinex, an over-the-counter medication. Governor Roy Cooper announced that this project could revitalize the facility, which has been winding down operations under its previous owner, and could create up to 289 jobs.
