J&J To Add Another New Drug-Making Facility In Wilson

Johnson & Johnson is deepening its commitment to U.S. drug manufacturing with a new state-of-the-art facility in Wilson, North Carolina. This expansion will create up to 500 jobs focused on producing medicines for oncology and neurological diseases. The investment is part of J&J’s broader $55 billion initiative to strengthen domestic manufacturing, research, and technology by 2029. North Carolina’s skilled workforce and robust life sciences ecosystem continue to attract major projects, with this being J&J’s third investment in the state in just over a year. Legislative support and workforce training programs will further bolster the region’s biomanufacturing capabilities.
