Nipro Medical Corp., a leading Japanese medical equipment company, is set to invest $397.8 million into developing a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Greenville, North Carolina. This exciting development will create over 232 high-quality jobs and marks Nipro's first manufacturing site in the state and fifth in the United States. The facility will specialize in producing cutting-edge medical devices for patients with diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and other renal issues. This significant investment is projected to boost the state's economy, and incentives for the project were approved by the N.C. Department of Commerce's Economic Investment Committee (EIC).
