A few years ago, Life Science Leader (LSL) moved to a paid-subscription circulation model. We knew this was risky, because we were putting people in a position of paying for something that was once free. There were a variety of business reasons behind the decision. For example, paid subscriptions would help offset the rising costs of printing and shipping a monthly publication. Further, we felt strongly that the quality and uniqueness of our content was worth paying for. Many of you agreed, and we are grateful to everyone who opted to become paid LSL subscribers.
