The Wrong Answer: Learning To Leverage Opposing Perspectives

It’s easy to say we value different perspectives. It is quite another thing to really mean it, especially when it comes to views that feel dangerous, unscientific, and just plain wrong. Take the vaccine debate. To many of us, the very idea of a debate about vaccines is ridiculous. Vaccinations prevent millions of illnesses, hospitalizations, and early deaths around the world. The science is clear. Why in the world would we consider alternative views of vaccines?
