According to Frost & Sullivan, value-based healthcare will be the global focus for 2019. The research firm foresees prime growth opportunities in digital health and health IT, a reality check for AI and blockchain, and a shakeup of reimbursement plans.

The most activity will be in developing markets, but even emerging regions will adapt evidence-based best practices to local needs.
