Veterans Filling Critical Biopharma Roles Through MOVE Program

Veterans and military personnel transitioning out of their time in service possess valuable skills and experiences sought after by many employers. Recognizing the need for an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented workforce in the world-class manufacturing centers of life sciences companies, the North Carolina Biotechnology Center initiated the Military Outreach and Veterans Engagement, or MOVE, program in 2019. This statewide program aims to connect veterans, service members transitioning to new careers, and military spouses with biopharma training programs, paving the way to secure full-time positions within the thriving life sciences industry.
