What Is BIO’s Focus For 2017 And Beyond? More Buzz From BIO CEO

Hosting the BIO Buzz Center during the 2017 BIO CEO & Investor Conference in New York City on behalf of Life Science Leader magazine provided me the opportunity to conduct five video interviews with a number of industry executives and thought leaders. One of the people I got the chance to speak with was Jim Greenwood, president and CEO of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), which just so happens to be the world’s largest biotechnology trade association. Representing more than 1,200 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations, BIO operates across the United States and in more than 30 other nations. The trade association produces a number of educational conferences and thought leadership gatherings, including the BIO International Convention, the world’s largest gathering of the biotechnology industry. Greenwood was appointed to his leadership role at BIO in 2005, following a distinguished political career that included serving in the U.S. House of Representatives on behalf of Pennsylvania’s Eighth District. Below is my short video interview with Jim Greenwood, president and CEO of Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO).
