The Mayo Clinic Nephrology, Hypertension and Kidney Transplantation Update for the Clinician 2024 is a two-and-a-half-day symposium designed to update participants on a range of nephrology topics relevant to current medical practice. Through a combination of lectures, literature review, and case-based presentations, this symposium delivers up-to-date and cutting-edge information that can be directly integrated into clinical practice. Course Highlights: - Practical case-based discussions with a panel of experts in the field to increase the participants' involvement in this course by using practical cases from the real world - Onconephrology session - Dedicated glomerulonephritis (GN) session day with internationally known experts in the field with state-of-the-art lectures - Describe the role of sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitors in specific patient population including those with diabetic nephropathy, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis and post kidney transplantation - Genetic testing in chronic kidney disease patients session - Networking opportunities - Abstract session Time: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM
