The Mayo Clinic Symposium on Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine provides learners with the most current and practical information relevant for those with an interest in clinical anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. Key focus areas of the symposium include the anesthesia team as the perioperative leader, preoperative evaluation, system improvements via a team model, surgical pathways, and innovative ideas for the complex patient. An additional learning opportunity includes an ultrasound workshop centered around regional blocks.
