If you are taking on a bigger job, it helps to be well prepared for it but also to have a taste for constantly discovering new ways to accomplish it. Beth Hoffman is fortunate on both counts. Now the founder, president, and CEO of Origami Therapeutics, Dr. Hoffman has a rich background in the biopharma industry, and by a positive coincidence, her prior experience was primarily in the management of discovery. Though Hoffman is a first-time CEO, running an entire company rather than a single function, she now applies the mindset of discovery to mastering her job.
